Totem Escape

Totem Escape is a puzzle game operated by Solovo LLC (“we”, “us”). This page explains what the game collects, why, who else receives it, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights — including your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws, where they apply to you.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Solovo LLC operates Totem Escape. For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, write to totemescape.support@gmail.com. We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and answer within 30 days.

2. What we collect

Data	Why
A technical account (a random login and password created by the game on your device)	To save your progress and restore it on another phone. We never ask for your email or phone number.
Game progress: levels, stars, coins, torches, collection, daily gift and challenge progress	To keep your game and your purchases safe if you reinstall.
The name you choose for friends and leagues (optional)	Shown to friends you invite and to other players in your weekly league.
Invite code, who invited you and whom you invited; when you open an invite link: your IP address, platform, OS version and screen size	To give both of you the invite reward and to recognise that your install came from a friend’s link. Link-click data is kept for up to 7 days.
Purchases	To credit what you bought. Payment details never reach us — Google Play or the App Store handles payment.
Advertising identifier and device information	Used by AppLovin and its ad partners to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud.
Game events: which screens you open, levels started and won, buttons pressed, ads shown	To find where players get stuck and to balance the game. Tied to your account id, never to your name.

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, photos or your real email address.

3. Who else receives data

• Supabase — our database and hosting provider; stores everything above on our behalf.
• AppLovin (MAX) and the ad networks it works with (Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Liftoff, InMobi, Bigo Ads, Yandex) — receive your advertising identifier, IP address and device information to show and measure ads.
• Google Play and Apple App Store — process payments for purchases.
• Other players — see your chosen name and weekly stars in leagues and in your friends list. Nothing else.

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers process data outside your country, including in the United States; we rely on contractual safeguards with them.

4. Your choices

• Personalised ads. On iPhone the game asks for permission to track before any tracking; you can change it in Settings → Privacy. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the phone settings. Where required (for example in the EU/UK), you are asked for consent before personalised ads.
• No ads. Buying “No Ads” removes ads between levels. Optional reward videos stay available if you want them.
• Your name can be changed or left empty at any time.

5. How long we keep data, and deleting your account

We keep your data while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time — see how to delete your account. After deletion your progress, name, invites and league results are erased; purchase records are kept in anonymised form as long as needed to answer a payment dispute and to meet tax obligations. Advertising partners’ data is governed by their own policies.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, object to processing, or nominate a person to act for you. Write to totemescape.support@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority (in India — the Data Protection Board of India).

7. Children

Totem Escape is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game.
